It is important, however, not to interpret this as a guarantee that every Crystal sailing will have the offer, or that booking nine months ahead will always produce the lowest possible fare. Promotions and inventory vary by voyage.

If your dates are flexible and you are happy with several suite categories, you may have more latitude. If you have your heart set on a particular suite or sailing, earlier is generally wiser.
12 to 18 Months: Ideal for Choice

Crystal’s 2027 World Cruise aboard Crystal Serenity is a 139-night journey from San Diego to Vancouver, visiting 28 countries, 84 destinations and including 14 overnight stays.
That is not the sort of holiday most people casually add to their calendar.
A voyage of this scale requires substantial planning, and the longer you wait, the more difficult it can become to find the exact accommodation and arrangements you want.
For a World Cruise, 18 months or more is a very reasonable target, particularly if you are considering one of the more desirable suite categories.
New Ships and Inaugural Seasons

It is certainly possible to book closer to departure.
And sometimes, last-minute availability can work beautifully for travelers who are flexible about dates, destinations and accommodation.
